Constitution Day 2014

Students viewed 2 Ted Talks on the Constitution and answered the questions. After students finished their work they created a Shepard Fairey like Obama poster by importing a selfie into the application Lunapic.com and choosing the Obama Poster Affect adding a word that reflects their knowledge of the Constitution. Resources are: A 3-minute guide to the Bill of Rights by Belinda Stutzman (http://ed.ted.com/lessons/a-3-minute-guide-to-the-bill-of-rights-belinda-stutzman) and The Making of the Constitution by Judy Walton (http://ed.ted.com/lessons/who-made-the-american-constitution-judy-walton).

Welcome to Skyline High School's Graphic Design Blog

Graphics are all around you — print media, Internet, TV, packaging, and the document you’re reading now! As our world becomes increasingly visual, graphics are impacting how information is delivered. This course provides experiences for students to use image, type, color, illustration, and photography to create dynamic media using Adobe Creative Suite. Students will focus on the computer skills, design process, and aesthetic decisions needed to create print and digital media that effectively communication messages and information.

We started at the point of how to define Graphic Design with Andrew Mundi's interactive site on The Principles of Graphic Design and excerpts from the book Go by Chip Kidd.
